Perfect weather set the stage for a wonderful Sunday morning concert featuring the Bad Berleburg Wind Orchestra, conducted by Georg Gayer-Oehme, on the forecourt of the New CAPITOL. The team at the New CAPITOL also served up a selection of Bavarian specialties in the packed beer garden, including butter pretzels, white sausages, pork knuckles, chicken drumsticks and much more.
Plenty of Starnberger Helles beer from the Krombacher brewery flowed from the taps. The 40 young musicians of the Bad Berleburg Wind Orchestra delighted the audience with their diverse repertoire, ranging from marches, polkas and waltzes to rock and pop. The concert concluded with a sing-along version of the Wittgenstein regional anthem.
The performers received enthusiastic applause from the audience. We are already looking forward to the next edition on September 26, 2027.
